Poster poster pill
For a series bringing attention to the contraceptive pill and problems with it, side effects people don't talk about and raising general awareness of womens choices.
Its unfinished. Need to finish text, border and text behind the large 'WRONG'. But yeah, this is it in progress. Took aaaaages but very rewarding! I like posters.

Library Magazine time
From Next Level Collectors issue,
Petros Chrisostomou - 'Petros Chrisotomou Skatospore (II)'
Petros Chrisostomou - 'Petros Chrisotomou Skatospore (II)'
I've pretty much gone off conceptual installation work as most people at college do it...but this is amazing. It's made entirely out of huge mushrooms. Cool.
Sandrine Pagnoux's multi layered images are sweeeeet.
Contraceptive Pill
I'm doing two posters on things you may not know about the delightful hormonal tablets...
will post more when finished.
here's a stencil for one of them, for the poster 'What is WRONG with you?!'.
I've come back to the amazing Netsky Studiomix - http://deepgoa.wordpress.com/2009/02/05/netsky-studiomix-february-09/ really really incredible.

play
'Play' is a week long project where we brought in one image that inspired us, then randomly switched photos with one another. I got some decorative old doll style cut outs.
Enid Blyton
Until I watched Enid on BBC4 (starring Helena Bonham Carter), I hadn't realised what a troubled and nasty woman she was.

lust for exploration
I was scrolling through this really interesting blog ( http://artsponge.wordpress.com/) during a really dull Referencing lecture, and I found myself stuck on this image by David Montes.
it reminded me of the landscapes I saw in Peru and Patagonia. Particularly two lagoons at the top of a very steep (at very high altitude) mountain in Peru.
It brought me back to the awe of nature I felt whilst out there. It's so easy to flip back into normal everyday city life that its easy to push these memories aside, but it's magnificent when something makes the memories light up again.
Photography is magnificent.
The summit of the Salkantay Trek, Peru.
That orange was juicy juicy delicious, especially after walking uphill at high altitude.

wamp wamp what it do what it do
Went to Glasgow last night to chill with Joe, Hannah and Felix. We went to a really nice little tea/shisha place hidden behind some houses. I had Fairy Berry Bush tea..hah. yum.
On the way I got a new idea for a project after seeing lots of sheep with blue bums, those who had been 'rammed' by the ram. I was looking for one that hadn't been done. Then thought this would make an amusing poster.
ok you can't see the sheep..
Hopefully it's gna be a series of posters titled 'Are you satisfied?'.
If i get my arse into gear, they will appear here shortly..
Today (Sunday) I walked up Arthur's Seat to get the blood pumping.
I can see the sea.

reminds me of the entrance to Solar bar in Kreuzberg. It was really dark and had high ceilings with different coloured paper jelly fish lights. Wunderbar.

Back to blog
I've been doing a blog - http://sofardocumentation.blogspot.com -for our FYS exhibition 'So Far...' at the Art's Complex in Edinburgh on Fri 13th Nov, so I think I should pay some attention to my own blog.
College is good, although I need to get myself into the print rooms and learn printmaking etc.
I'm pretty much decided I want to head in the Graphic Design direction.
Not really into Installation/Sculpture any more.
The image above http://lab.colorsmagazine.com/content/russian-mariners is from the magazine COLOURS. I bought the teenage edition in Berlin, it's got some pretty sweet photos in. It's a online magazine too which anyone can contribute to.
Lovely
